In July, 2012, Operation of Hope traveled to Harare Central Hospital in Zimbabwe, in order to complete 52 facial reconstructive surgeries. This was our 12th surgical mission to Zimbabwe since 2006, where we’ve performed more than 720 free life-changing surgeries for Zimbabwean children in need!
We’d like to thank our wonderful team of 17 volunteers, headed by Operation of Hope Mission Director Jennifer Trubenbach and Medical Director Travis Tollefson, MD, and all the donors who made this trip possible!
